The next day was Folsom st though, so we couldn't stay out too late. Folsom was insane! I hadn't been there in years and although I know it's busy, I didn't expect it to be that packed! We were elbow to elbow walking through the crowd. It took us maybe an hour and a half to get two blocks. Finally we decided to step to the side of the street and just watch for a while. Oh, there were many interesting people! People just went crazy with costumes. One guy had a cow tongue as a strap-on. Another lady was walking around topless nursing a baby doll. The sad thing is I think she may have thought it was real. And then of course there were just those who wanted to be naked. My friend Willow also decided it would be really funny to pretend that she was totally wasted and lie down on the street with a beer and a traffic cone. People kept coming up to see if she was ok or pose with her. By the end of the day we were all tired, drunk and happy.
The next day I had to be up at a decent hour to shoot for the Von Gutenberg magazine. Of course there was more latex and shiny boots. The issue with my photos will be out in January and I can't wait to see the pictures!
